Finding an old safe: Far from finding treasure!
Last month a couple in Phoenix, Arizona found an old safe hidden under the floor of their house when they began renovating their kitchen. After several attempts, using a safe code they had found when they initially moved in, the safe opened and inside they were greeted with over £30,000 in old notes, a book and a bottle of bourbon. It has since transpired that the book contains notes and images which many believe to be clues leading to a second safe!
Now not everyone will be this lucky when discovering an old safe, in fact for the majority finding one can be a major inconvenience, especially when it comes to disposing of something that can weigh in excess of one tonne.
